1. Declaration of consent under data protection law

PARSUMO Capital AG, Förrlibuckstrasse 30, CH-8005 Zürich (“PARSUMO”) is the owner of the website www.parsumo.com which you have visited. Whenever you visit this website, PARSUMO collects, uses, and saves data about you and your person. Your data is collected, used, and saved exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection provisions in Switzerland and in the European Union.

This data privacy statement explains in particular the nature, scope, purpose, length, and legal basis for the processing of personal data to the extent that we decide, either alone or together with others, on the purpose and means of its processing. Furthermore, this statement also explains the external components that we implement to optimise and increase the user-friendliness of our site to the extent that third parties hereby process data under their own responsibility.

If you get in touch with us online or register for PARSUMO’s newsletter, we will also collect the following personal data provided by you with your consent:

3. Google Analytics

This website or platform uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse your use of the website or platform. The information that is generated by the cookie about your use of this website or platform is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it is saved. The IP address of the user is anonymised beforehand.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator for the purpose of evaluating individual use of the website or platform, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services relating to website utilisation and Internet usage vis-à-vis the website operator. Google may associate the IP address transmitted by the user’s browser within the framework of Google Analytics with other data held by Google. The user may refuse the use of cookies by selecting appropriate settings in their browser software; however, the operator points out that the user may not be able to use the full functionality of this website or platform as a result. The user can also prevent the collection of the data relating to their use of the website or platform (including their IP address) created by the Google cookie and the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the available browser plug-in.

4. Security measures

PARSUMO has taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, misuse, or destruction.

5. Use and forwarding of personal data

We use the collected data only for statistical purposes and to make it easier for you to navigate through our website. All third-party providers (business partners) that collaborate with PARSUMO are bound by the relevant trade secrets and applicable data protection provisions. PARSUMO may also disclose your data to regulatory and governmental entities or authorities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or official requests, or under and for the purposes of any guidelines issued by regulatory or other authorities, or similar processes, as either required or permitted by applicable laws.

6. Newsletter

If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose, i.e. your email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be sent to us. We will also store the IP address of the Internet connection you use to access our website, and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter by way of an email confirmation. You can revoke your consent to the receipt of the newsletter at any time with future effect. To this end, you just need to notify us of your desire to revoke your consent or you can simply click the unsubscribe link contained in every newsletter.

7. Questions about data protection, revocation, and contact

Upon receipt of a written request, you can obtain information from us regarding precisely which type of data we have stored about you at any time. Furthermore, you are entitled to revoke your consent given to us to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data (declaration of consent under data protection law) at any time with future effect. You can send your revocation request in writing to the address below or to datenschutz@parsumo.com.
You also have the option of correcting your data, or having your data blocked or deleted by us. This does not include data whose storage is required due to statutory retention obligations.

8. Electronic messages

Electronic messages sent to or from PARSUMO are saved. This storage is only for purposes of proof. Access is only granted in justified cases in accordance with the applicable laws and provisions, and only to certain persons in defined roles (e.g. legal, compliance, or risk department).

9. Links to other websites

Links to other websites, which belong to third parties not associated with PARSUMO, but which might link to the PARSUMO website (“third-party websites”) are not included in the scope of this declaration of consent. External websites can collect and use additional data. Please refer to the data privacy statements of the respective third-party websites.
