RENÉ J. RIEDI, born in Zurich in 1950, looks back on a long career in advising mainly institutional investors at Credit Suisse Group in Zurich as well as several years of experience as Treasurer of CSAM. After working in the USA at Swiss American Securities Inc., New York, Credit Suisse, Los Angeles, and Crocker Bank, San Francisco, he took over the management of an institutional investors sector.
He initiated, implemented and managed conceptual asset management for institutional clients and global custody. After the reorganisation of Credit Suisse Group, he took over as Head of Investment Advisory Institutional Switzerland and Head of Relationship Management for several regions in Switzerland. He built up foreign exchange and money market trading for the CSAM business unit and took over as Head of Treasury and Seed Money Manager for CSAM worldwide.
After many years at Credit Suisse, he played a decisive role in the successful development of PARSUMO and, as a partner, was responsible for Risk & Compliance, HR and Finance. As of 2021, he has entered a well-deserved retirement and will continue to be available to the company and its clients with his experience as a member of the Advisory Board.
