VINZENZ THOMA: born 1997 in Kassel and raised in Basel, studies Economics at the University of St. Gallen.
As a student he has already immersed himself into financial markets by writing a paper on the speculative bubbles on the 2008 financial crisis, for which he won the highest award possible from “Swiss Youth Research”. As a result, he was awarded the opportunity to represent Switzerland at the “European Union Contest for Young Scientists”, one of the most prestigious science competitions in the world. Vinzenz Thoma is also sponsored by the Swiss Study Foundation.
He has developed various algorithms and technical systems to be implemented in PARSUMO`s investment strategy and market risk measurement. Other topics that are in particular interest to him are quantitative analysis and solving complex technical questions.
