VINZENZ THOMA: born 1997 in Kassel and raised in Basel, studies Mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich).
As a student he has already immersed himself into financial markets by writing a paper on the speculative bubbles during the 2008 financial crisis, for which he won the highest award possible from “Swiss Youth in Science”. As a result, he was awarded the opportunity to represent Switzerland at the “European Union Contest for Young Scientists”, one of the most prestigious science competitions in the world. Moreover, Vinzenz Thoma is sponsored by and holds prestigious scholarships from the Swiss Study Foundation and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
He has developed various algorithms and technical systems for the implementation of PARSUMO`s investment strategies, factor selection and market risk measurement. Other topics that are of particular interest to him are quantitative analyzes and solving complex technical questions.
